Merdeka Curriculum: The Analysis Of The Implementation At Ma’arif Educational Institution Pacitan

The Merdeka Curriculum is an educational outcome issued by the Government through the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology that has been in effect since 2022. Responding to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology’s policy, the Ministry of Religious Affairs also stipulated Decree of the Minister of Religious Affairs Number 347 of 2022 concerning Guidelines for Implementing the Independent Curriculum in madrasahs. From this case, this study aimed at analyzing the implementation of the merdeka (independent) curriculum implementation in the Ma’arif Education Institute (LP Ma’arif) of Pacitan Regency. To meet the purpose, a descriptive qualitative category type field research was employed. The data collection technique used was through four steps, those were: (1) observation; (2) questionnaires; (3) in-depth interviews; and (4) documentation. The analysis knife used in this research is descriptive-qualitative method. The results of this study revealed that 98% of madrasahs in the scope of LP. Ma’arif Kab.
