The Merdeka Curriculum is an educational outcome issued by the Government through the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology that has been in effect since 2022. Responding to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology’s policy, the Ministry of Religious Affairs also stipulated Decree of the Minister of Religious Affairs Number 347 of 2022 concerning Guidelines for Implementing the Independent Curriculum in madrasahs. From this case, this study aimed at analyzing the implementation of the merdeka (independent) curriculum implementation in the Ma’arif Education Institute (LP Ma’arif) of Pacitan Regency.
